This issue focuses on the theme of the ‘Creative Audience’. It includes articles focusing on various aspects of the creative audience, including intertextual play in K-drama, design studio practice as collaboration between audiences and producers, the role of cosplayers in creating immersion, and fan participation and the auteur in the age of algorithmic reproduction. The issue also includes an article from the ‘Studio’ section which reflects on the legacy of the ‘George Saunders Reimagined’ exhibition, a collaboration between Birmingham Back to Backs Museum and Birmingham City University.
